QSC:n porukka on tehnyt taas tuotekehittelyä ja nyt kytkimen saa matalempana mallina eikä spaceria enää tarvita,

The new "modded" QSC pri has been in the testing stages for some time now. Adam told me about it quite a while ago and we discussed the changes that will be made. He modded two of them, and rode several hundred miles with one on his bike, then loaned them to others to ride on their bikes for testing. All worked perfectly.
By removing a little material here, and a little material there, the overall length of the primary clutch has been shortened by approx 3/8". The purpose of this was for one reason: to eliminate the need for the 3/4" thick spacer that was required to go between the CV cover and Air Guide.
Admittedly, the 3/4" spacer had it's problems, and some people just plain didn't want it on their bike. Well, it's gone now. All primary clutches after this point will be the shorter version and will not require the CV cover spacer.
Existing clutches will be able to be modified/shortened so that the CV cover spacer can be eliminated on bikes that are currently running the spacer. At one point we discussed if he will be offering the clutch shortening as a service, and he told me that he will. The cost for this service has not been determined.
As for the spring, it has not been changed. All clutches currently running a certain spring will not require a different spring. The only time a spring may need to be shortened is if someone wants to lower their engagement, and that will be custom tailored for each biike and the riders' personal needs.
So........for those of you that may be sitting on the fence about buying a QSC, and don't like the spacer, here you go! The spacer is eliminated.
